Insertion: Lateral side of base of proximal phalanx of little toe

Actions: Flexes metatarsophalangeal joint of little toe

Innervation: Superficial branch of lateral plantar nerve (S2, 3)

Origin: Anterior (costal) surface of the scapula

Insertion: Lesser tuberosity of the humerus

Actions: Internal rotation

Innervation: Upper and lower subscapular nerves

Daily uses: Tucking the back of your shirt into your trousers
